Propeller Productions in conjunction with Club Essential are proud to announce the first electronic dance music festival Essential KnockOUT to take place on Saturday, 7th July - from dusk till dawn. The festival spot lies in the very centre of Riga city - on Zakusala island, on the river Daugava, near a huge tower of a similar form to the Eiffel (built for television transmition in the late seventies) - a perfect place for an outdoor dance music celebration in the heart of the urban capital. Blasting dance music that's finally made it's way out of the clubs and into the wild - filling Zakusala with thousands of clubbers, music lovers and people simply seeking positive energy, vibration of the music to echo deep into their hearts, to fill their bodies with the joy of dance under the starry sky.

Essential KnockOUT. The name gets it right there - from the technical to the visual and artistic side of it - this will knock you out! And - yes! - this is essential! 4 stages, unique and original decorations and design, tons and tons of the best sound and light equipment, the greatest and the latest in visualization of image on screens different in form and configuration, the most powerful lasers in the world illuminating the sky and the tower. An outdoor event production that has no precedent in the history of events in the Baltics. As for the musical programme - it's as ambitious as the technical production - world class DJs on all stages!

Covered by a huge tent the stage is set for the Best Club in the World 2006 - Amnesia Ibiza. For those who are familiar with this legend of a club it has always been the impressive decorations, the fire of the fantastic go-go dancers and the performances filled with that mystic vibe. In terms of show the Amnesia Ibiza Stage at KnockOUT is set to fit the high standarts of the club itself!

Just around the corner, on another stage, in another tent - a brand of 12 years of precise work and creative charm will present it‘s vibe - Milk'n'2 Sugars - on the MN2S Stage! Yes, you got it - we're dealing with the same passionate, house obsessed english perfectionists who always deliver a truly positive mood, a set of exceptionally stylish decorations and the world elite of house music masters to showcase their skill and feel. This is the first time MN2S will expose it's strength in this territory on such a large scale, so the expierence should and will be special here. You won't miss the tent - it's set for more than 700 attendats at a time and design of the stage promises to capture the special taste of MN2S.

As for dimensions and technical solutions the star of the night is the Red Stage - a huge technically complicated construction to embody an original DJ stage, an LED screen measured in square meters by tens, six go-go stands of grand height and a roof to welcome more than 1000 dancers.

And finally - European Hit Radio (EHR) is to come up with a surprise for it's actual and potential listeners in the form of the fourth KnockOUT tent - the EHR Stage. EHR is willing to shatter the myth of the radio as an automated and technocratic experience representing only a frequency. European Hit Radio's real strength lies in the young, talented and purposive people - the real on-air personalities who with the help of high technology simply communicate with the audience. An attendant will be surprised to see the DJs of the EHR team in real action - real in a matter of time and space without the ever present fix of the radio frequency.

Undoubtedly the main thing in the arsenal of many qualities of Essential KnockOUT is the very sole - the artistes! - the DJs!
Stylistically the musical programme of the festival is as colourful as it is highly democratic. These different strokes have been given a smart settlement across the territory of the event to ensure that lovers of a particualr musical style are given the chance to enjoy him/herself without any disturbance and meet his/her alikes.

On the Amnesia Ibiza Stage we welcome Robbie Rivera - one of today's most prolific dj/producers. His distinctive brand of sexy pounding house ignites dance-floors across the globe, while the world's top artists queue up to have Robbie put his sound to their tracks. The names he's remixed for, reads like a list of winners at a international music awards party - Faithless, Felix Da Housecat, Madonna, Kylie, Ferry Corsten, Moloko, Sonique, Gabriel and Dresden, Sinead O'Connor, Victoria Beckham, Ricky Martin, Santana, Basement Jaxx, David Guetta, Pink and Brandy are just a few of the talents who have made Robbie their first port of call. Robbie Rivera is a true international and pioneering artist who em-bodies everything that is so great about dance music today. The stage will also feature the dancing Ibiza Drag Queens and the electric violin virtuoso Micah who will enrich the performance of the Amnesia Ibiza resident - DJ Brian Cross. At the young age of 26, Brian Cross is an accomplished Spanish DJ who has been recently awarded as Best International Spanish DJ by DJ MAG. The temper of this stage will also be driven by Lithuanian star Ignas as well as Al Dee -the resident and creative leader of the most important and biggest dancefloor in the Baltics - Club Essential.

In the great atmosphere of the MN2S Stage we shall witness a house legend perform... Grammy Award nominated DJ/Producer Todd Terry is one of the world’s most celebrated figures in dance music.  With almost two decades of dance floor domination under Todd’s belt the quality of his productions goes from strength to strength. Welcome to the church of house music presided over by Todd the God. From SNAP! to Annie Lennox to George Michael to Bjork, Todd’s mixes bridge the ground between club cool and commercial accessibility.  He then rode the charts with mixes for Garbage (Stupid Girl), The Cardigans (Love Fool), Everything But The Girl (Wrong), 10,000 Maniacs (More Than This), Jamiroquai (Alright), The Cardigans (Been It), and The Lightning Seeds (You Showed Me) among many others.
Another star of the MN2S Stage - Seamus Haji - one of the most creative and technically gifted house DJ’s of our time with many more strings to his bow.. Seamus Haji has become synonymous with quality, his DJ sets never disappoint, he’s a technical wizard and his productions are phenomenal..
Beside these global house celebrities MN2S Stage will also welcome Estonians who have long ago breached the borders of the Baltic recognizability - the Rulers of the Deep duo whose blend of deep, tribal, tech-edged yet soulful house has become a trademark. Numerous original productions and loads of remixes have earned ROTD a spot in the spotlight of global dance music scene, hailed by likes of Roger Sanchez, King Britt, Josh Wink and Simon Dunmore.
The stage will also welcome undeniable leaders of the Latvian clubbing scene - Bogdan Taran and mixmasters AG&Raitis.
A special turn in the overall mood of the festival is the performance of a female DJ Lisa Lashes on the Red Stage. She has gained her worldwide reputation for playing hard dance, now she is being recognised for her skills in the breaks style. She has performed her dirty breaks sets at her Lashed nights alongside people like Freq Nasty, Rennie Pelgrim, Leeroy Thornhill and The Freestylers, also in some of the world’s leading clubs - Godskitchen, Turnmills, Bar M to name a few. And then - if you want an indication of where dance music’s going next, let the Dutch talent Matthew Dekay be your guide. Or let yourself go to the stunning performace of Rank 1 who gained their popularity already in the year 1998 with the massive Airwave who spinned to an actual first rank in the charts all over the globe. It was followed by a string os success including a remix for Sensation's hymn of the year 2000 Superstring by Cygnus X and their single Such is Life which became the hymn of Sensation 2001 and the fresh collabration with Armin van Buuren - This World Is Watching Me - which has also topped the charts by now. The Red Stage will also be a home to the skill of club Nautilus resident and Capital FM personality - DJ Rise and another club Essential resident Kaspar Kondrat.
Thanks to Essential KnockOUT 2007 partners - European Hit Radio - the offical radiostation of the festival and MTV Baltic the word shall spread and information will be throughout available.
EHR will present news of Essential KnockOUT every day which will include information on the artists and the popular Party Service show will feature interviews with the best-known DJs and intriguing stories on the making of the festival. MTV will "knockout" you in the show Supermercado.
